This holiday season Abella Galleries celebrated the giving spirit by donating and helping to raise over $250 for several charities and non-profits! By contributing 30% of necklace sales proceeds from fundraiser events and donating necklaces to raffles and silent auctions, Abella Galleries was proud to give back to the community! We kicked off the holiday season by selling necklaces at a fundraiser event on November 21 in support of ChildHelp, a non-profit that helps abused children, at Pistone's Italian Inn in West Falls Church, Virginia. We followed up that event with a second fundraiser at Pistone's on December 12 in support of Hands On DC, an all-volunteer non-profit that organizes projects to improve the physical condition of D.C. public schools. Also on December 12, Abella Galleries donated a necklace for a silent auction in support of Masquers Theatre Company in Forest Lake, Minnesota.
On December 3, Abella Galleries participated in the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum Holiday Bazaar, raising money for this wonderful museum dedicated to preserving, showcasing, and educating about the history of the fight for American women's right to vote. Abella Galleries again showed support for women's rights at a fundraiser event for the National Capital Chapter of UNIFEM, the United Nations Fund for Women, which works "toward a world where women live free from violence, poverty and inequality". Check back on Abella Galleries' What's New page for future opportunties to support great non-profits by buying Abella Galleries necklaces. Happy Holidays!
